I’m definitely hoping for a better outcome with book 2. I felt like I’d finally started getting into the characters, Christian in particular, when the book ended. Glad you gave it a shot. While I’m in the “love it” camp for this series, I know EXACTLY what you mean about on-the-fence books. Those are the ones that are the toughest to talk about, in my opinion, because they usually bring about such a wide mix of emotions that it makes it difficult to sum up all of those feelings. You like a little of this, you don’t like some of that….it’s frustrating. I feel your pain. ;)
